Club & Private Group Horse Camps and Clinics
In the Spring and Summer months, horse camps and clinics are regularly organised by in-house Coaches Helen Bell and Charlie Dennis. These are run for Pony Clubs, Riding Clubs or private groups . So, if you have a few friends that you want to get together and have fun with then get in touch with Helen for an informal chat. Please note that the minimum number for a camp is 8.
Hurworth Pony Club
Breckenbrough has hosted the camp for our senior members for the last 4 years. The facilities have been fantastic both for camping and of course the ponies. Nothing has been too much trouble for Tom and Helen, ensure that the young people have a fantastic camp and are in a safe environment always having an alternative plan if needed; changing Harleys into a sleepover during torrential rain. The lovely staff is on hand to help out with anything from fixing taps to filling paddle pools!
Private Group – Amanda
We have been lucky enough to attend horse camp at Helen Bell’s for 3 years – we enjoy it so much we go twice a year. From the very first camp we attended we have been made to feel very welcome. Helen has taken an interest in what we want to achieve has given us loads of support and skill sets to achieve this.
The facilities are amazing there is something for everyone. Helen is very experienced in her choosen field, the riders psychology training is fascinating and has helped us so much. My horse is so relaxed in the stables which is one of the main reasons I keep returning and will keep going back.
Externally Organised Horse Camps & Clinics
Due to Breckenbrough’s easy accessibility from the A1 and excellent facilities it is the ideal venue for freelance coaches to use for Clinics or Horse Camps. In addition, other useful facilities available for use are:
- Commercial kitchen
- Wifi
- TV
- Café seating area /woodburner
- Up to 20 stables.
